City Park Neighborhood

City Park is an urban park in Denver encompassing 370 acres which is adjacent to the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and City Park Golf Course. The City Park neighborhood is divided into two sections with City Park West on the west side of the park and City Park South on the southern side. The park has three lakes, a boathouse, peddle boating, open areas for soccer and other sports, jogging trails, and tennis courts. It is home to various annual events and festivals including a summer-long free concert series on Sundays: City Park Jazz.

City Park neighborhood boundaries are Downing St, 23rd Ave, Colorado Blvd, and Colfax Ave. Homes are a mix of historic single family residences, duplexes, condos, and apartments. This is a popular area for the medical community as there are several hospitals within a few blocks. Downtown Denver workers enjoy the scooter lifestyle on many of Denver's 300 days of sunshine.
